We are a niche firm offering fully bi-lingual legal services for English and German speaking clients. We specialise in commercial dispute resolution, insolvency litigation, debt recovery and enforcement of foreign judgments in the UK.

Abbott Fahlbusch was founded in 2000 by Jeanette Fahlbusch. Jeanette has 16 years experience in large London City firms specialising in Anglo-German litigation. Previously she worked in the Anglo-German litigation department of City firm Frere Cholmeley Bischoff, and built up the Anglo-German litigation department of the London office of leading German firm Beiten Burkhardt Mittl & Wegener. Later she developed and extended the Anglo-German unit at the UK wide practice of Bevan Ashford.

Our clients benefit from this experience in that they receive quality, bi-lingual, advice at sensible non-City rates. We operate a competitive fee structure which is calculated in proportion to the amount of a claim and type of case in question, rather than applying fixed hourly rates regardless of the size of claim.

For many years Jeanette was Honorary Secretary of the British-German Chamber of Industry & Commerce in London, the West and also the South-East of England, focussing in particular on advising small and medium sized businesses from both sides of the Channel. This experience enormously helped Jeanette's appreciation of differing business and cultural practices - invaluable where dispute resolution is concerned.

Jeanette is a member of the Law Society, the British-German Jurists Association and the Law Society's European Group.

Abbott Fahlbusch is regulated by the Law Society for England and Wales.
